Welcome to h2g2!! 
Unfortunately, the pay isn't coming in yet for anyone but the paid staff. That's why they call themselves the 'paid staff' as a researcher, you get the honour of participating in a great experiment. - http://www.h2g2.com
I volunteer as a Sub-editor, Researchers who help out the paid staff by reading and reviewing submitted articles for inclusion in the Guide. I am also a member of the ACEs, the Assistant Community Editors, who have volunteered to welcome newcomers to h2g2. In case you missed it, 'Welcome!'

Wow!! didnt come in for 2 days and whoa! so many welcome messages!
Frankly, i actually tot tat no 1 would bother to reply to this, u know, the "i dunno this fellow, why bother to reply?" attitude.
BUT, u guys(n gals?) really change my view of this community site man! hmm... this is really a good place to "settle down"!
BTW, a little intro for u guys : I'm from Singapore and presently working as a Java Engineer(doing all sorts of Java stuffs). I love the HHGTTG series and I'm here mainly coz of tat (and I'm sure the same goes for u guys.... )
