there seems to be a bit of an echo in here
Well, I have very little idea yet what is going
on round here, but I suspect that it will turn
out to be a certain amount of fun. It is less
than a week since I turned this new Dell machine
on(as you could probably guess from the use
of capitals, etc), and since I am old enough
not to have encountered computers at school,
every minor step forward is "one small step",
such as getting the window I am typing into
to a reasonable size... but this has to be
enough for now, as I will probably end up
having to type it again...
