~Welcome!~ Well, kinda anyway...greetings may be more appropriate. Am a single female of age (*cough, cough*) currently residing in Northern California, USA. One of our more colorful expressions re: this area is, "Land of Granola--anything that isn't a fruit, or a nut, is probably a flake!" Dunno if I subscribe to THAT theory (*shrug*), but (in mentally reviewing co-workers, erstwhile friends of the area, and the local grocery clerks) could be applicable I guess. Love art, music, movies, and conversation...am insatiably curious about everything...and love to travel!! I was raised Southern, which comes out occassionally in both my speech and attitude...but, usually, only when I'm angry. Have a great sense of humor and love to laugh...was recommended to site by an overseas friend (don't have a lot of 'em, but the handful that I DO have are precious!) and have been perusing the site for a couple of hours now and LMAO! Seems I might have found a new home. Intelligence, humor, and opinions presented eloquently? Wow! Now if all y'all would just visit chat rooms a bit more often...
