Would drug-free sport make our roads safer?

Seeing as Greek sprinters Kenteris And Thanou were alledgedly injured in a Motorcycle accident, while alledgedly hurrying back to the Olympic village to take a drugs test they alledgedly were not aware of. Would not a drug free environemnt not allow for this situation to be different. If top sports poeple, sponsors, media etc could accept that humans can fail and not heap expectations on the competitors would this not help to keep sport cleaner and our roads safer?
Your thoughts.

'A sportman who never took drugs dispite several offers.'

Mind you I coiuld have done with a few beta blockers last night when I had to convert 1 shot into at least three with my last bowl. I only drew another and did not move the jack.

Hard luck, DD. Just don't take anything that shifty-looking bloke in the baseball cap next to the green offers you.
