Okay, I understand you're busy, so you can have tonight off. I won't be offended.
I do like you though!
Venus in Fly-Trap Posted Mar 27, 2000
I'm not busy now either, apart from somehow having to sort out all these lighbulb jokes etc....
Busy busy busy with jokes, I am. Busy with jokes all day long.
I do like you though!

So, was there a film you got that song from?
One with Bing Crosby in?
One about King Arthur?
And A Conneticut Yankee?
I do like you though!
J'au-æmne Posted Mar 30, 2000
No.... I have to confess I got it off a tv advertisement for something or other....
.....don't hate me!!!

I don't hate you, and I'll forgive you this once.
You'll just have to promise to see "A Conneticut Yankee" (The original, not the 3 modern updates) with Bing Crosby. It's a great film.
I do like you though!
J'au-æmne Posted Apr 5, 2000
I'll try...
BTW Leazes my fish is planning to do some more jokes today... you do lots so I thought you may like to know.
I do like you though!

Thanks - we all appreciate it.
I'm currently sorting out 9 pages of lightbulb jokes, yet Roasted Amoeba will get all the credit...
It's a woman's lot to be behind the scenes and let someone else get all the glory...

*sympathy*
http://www.h2g2.com/A292457 read about Euro English... Leazes would tell you himself but his browser has given up the ghost for the time being...

I really enjoyed reading it.
When Bluebottle gets around to updating what I've done, I'll tell him about that article of Leazes - it's great!

He has now, he forgot... Goldfishes memories aren't very good, you know.

I know, or at least, so I gather from Fish called Honda, who happens to be a friend of mine, and no relation at all.
Thank Leazes for me. Does he have any ideas on how to improve the layout of the directory? Bluebottle and I don't think that it's quite working. We're thinking of having a by-subject index instead of by author. That would help find what you are looking for, but would make the coding annoying to change.

J'au-æmne Posted Apr 5, 2000
It would be annoying but probably worthwhile. But Leazes and I are too tired to think tonight, we'll let you know if we have any thoughts.

Venus in Fly-Trap Posted Apr 6, 2000
I was thinking of starting a "Life, The Universe And Everything" style approach, with living things being under life, Places being under "Universe" and everything else being under Everything.
But I gather someone else has done that?
Key: Complain about this post
I do like you though!
