That's why I put the cig filters in my ears, I don't mind the possible scrambling of my brain headbanging

No, I didn't mean I've lost my hearing, I meant temporarily after rock concerts.
It's the only thing I miss about living in London, the big concert venues, Wembley, Hammersmith, The Marquee were only a tube ride away

Ah! I follow now
my miss of heavy rock concerts money, in my "youth" no car. So travel/"tent"food costs etc etc, way beyond my reach. Plus "my" mates around that time weren't the rock music type
as usual in my lifewrong time, wrong body, wrong wallet the list goes on

2 of the best concerts I saw were The Rolling Stones at Wembley and Paul Simon's Graceland in Germany.
Status Quo were fabulous too

I saw Richie Blackmore's Rainbow and Blue Oyster Cult at Leeds, plus Led Zeppelin's first concert for 2 yrs at Knebworth
Not enoughconcerts by far = £££'s and not many headbanger mates around that time

they change the name/s - hard rock etc, but I was never into ac/dc-motorhead and those type rock bands. 70's heavy rock was my era
zep/deep purple etc.
I did go with a younger friend to Doncaster to see Hawkwind, because Ginger Baker was drumming for them (bit of a comedown in my opinion)
It was held in a old cinema and I snook over the "no go in this area ropes" and got on a circle balcony smack dab overlooking the stage. They played a few songs and then as they were sort of getting ready for the next lot - I shouted "long live Cream - Ginger Baker drum solo" He looked up at me and went into a drum solo after about 4 mins, he changed the tone and I knew that was for the group to come in on the next songBUT he looked up at me smiling and I returned 2 great thumbs up and a nod of thank you

Yes, I used to listen to his Drive Show on Radio 2.
Wasn't he a Pirate in the 60's

Typical! Wed's thunderball draw..
mine -
9-14-19-32-37--bonus 6 = £3 win for bonus ball
3-5-8-27-38--bonus 8
16-20-21-23-30--bonus 6 = £3 win for bonus ball
them -
3-17-31-33-38--bonus 6
two numbers on left side numbers and bonus ball = £10 thrust "them" to give 2 in the middle row.

I agree with a lot of it, H2G2 is very old fashioned compared to other Social media and it's natural to find other places when social media really exploded. H2 needs to move with the times to bring more people in, and fix the serious problems like Pliny

Only problem is, other social sites have mega money to invest in top engineers and all other aspects etc of running a social site. Hootoo doesn't have the money, it's run on a shoe-string budget as such more volunteers, than big financial backing institutions etc
Key: Complain about this post
