This is Me!
Hi,
I'll jump straight in and tell you a little about myself. I currently live in Montrose, I moved here from Aberdeen in July 2006. I work for Network Rail as a Signaller. One of my previous jobs included being a Projectionist for UGC. Two great jobs, especially if you like your own company!
My interest in sports include Ice Hockey, of which I am a fan of the Dundee Stars. I support Montrose FC and my all time favourite player is Joe Miller, especially during his spells with Aberdeen! I am quite an avid follower of Horse Racing, and I am currently a member of Elite Racing Club.
My favourite author would be Christopher Brookmyre. However, my two favourite books are Tell No One by Harlan Coben and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, of which I had the pleasure of reading in a 'one-er' on an 8 hour train journey from Aberdeen to London. I like to read about True Crime from the time of the Jack the Ripper killings to the 1990's.
I currently volunteer my time to the Scottish Wildlife Trust. I have been doing this for over 2 years now. It is very satisfying work and much cheaper than joining a gym! I also help out at the Montrose Picture House, this was after an appeal in the local paper for volunteers. I give money to the Scottish SPCA through a scheme at work called Give As You Earn, I thoroughly recommend this scheme if your workplace does this. You can give to any charity of your choice.
I have a dog called Mack, he is a tri-colour collie and he is 1 year old. I also have a Budgie called Jake, he certainly puts Mack in his place. Jake ruled the roost long before Mack came on the scene!
My usual holiday destination is Lossiemouth, it is a truly fantatstic place. I also love to visit Northern Ireland, the place is brilliant, the food is great and the people are so friendly. I like to go camping, especially on the West Coast of Scotland and Skye. I find the best time to go is April, around Easter, and September. This is best because the Midges are not out, these wee blighters do their upmost to ruin your holiday!
Lastly, SpongeBob SquarePants is the best TV programme ever. I am in fact 28 years old and not 8 years old. But give it a try it's hilarious.
Speak to you all soon,
Chris.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
