Welcome to H2G2, the earth edition of that wholly remarkable book, the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You seem to be getting on fine, changing both your nickname and your introduction already, but if you need some help of any sort, feel free to drop in on me and the other ACEs (Assistant Community Editors) at http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 .
By the way, though I don't know much about the nature of the Universe, I'm inclined to agree with you about Christopher Lloyd, though might that also make him the least SANE person in the world?

Thanks for the quick (that being a virtual understatement!) reply. You may be right about Christopher Lloyd...wonder if the relationship between intelligence and sanity is inverse? Maybe I'll update my entry accordingly.

That could very well be, as you may notice that intelligent people such as Edgar Allen Poe and Vincent Van Gogh were often not quite there. Albert Einstien couldn't tie his shoes, maybe that points to something, too... but now I'm rambling...

I quite agree that intelligence and sanity have an inverse relationship in most cases - the closer a human gets to understanding "the truth", the less sane he becomes. Just take a look at DNA .

Did anyone see the episode (I saw it on reruns) of the Twilight Zone where someone discoveres the meaning of life, and then goes insane, and everyone he tells goes completely and utterly insane, and the main character is striving NOT to hear this revelation because he sees what's going on as a result of it? (deep breath) This forum reminds me of that!

I live near a small town, which is closer to a larger town, which itself is a suburb of a moderately-sized city, which in turn....oh, you get the point. I'm about 25 miles east of St. Louis, Missouri. Nice place, but it's currently raining...bleech. If I didn't have so much homework I'd be reading "Stranger in a Strange Land" right now.

Stranger in a Strange Land is a very... interesting book Personally I'm in Tucson, Arizona at the UofA. It's not raining here, but yesterday we had a dust storm and it was very cold (for Arizona, that is). Hope you get some reading done...

What's "cold" for Arizona, low 70's? Check out my articles on the MiB (A22058) and Time Dilation (A221969) and tell me whatcha think...I submitted "Time Dilation" for official approval!

Well, it was a high yesterday around 60 and a low around 30 here in Tucson, which is plenty cold for me! Personally, if the high is below 80 I'm getting out my winter clothes
