GOOD NEWS ! I finally got a ride out of here..I wanted to go to the warmth but I guess any ride is better then no ride. So Oregon here i come...So if I am not on here often then I am bcak on the road....

Well, being homeless and getting tired of the cold you begin to consider the different opportunities that present themselves. Now I grew up in a poor neighborhood and have been schooled on some street life. But I grew up and live without the desperation and hunger I had then. So being desperate and hungry again, mostly the cold is what did it, when I was offered free room and board in a nice warm motel room I jumped at the chance. Well, I remember being taught that nothing is free in this world. This wasn't either. I had to sell crack.
"O.K. I'll do it ", I said.
"You sure " ? seeing my pause in my reply.
" Yea, who gives a f**k".
So I got the room and began to be the guy they come to. I would have only so many grams, but crack is not like powder, it carries a much worse punishment, they would be sent to me and I would give it to them. Tens and twenty's throughout the night. You can make six hundred dollars a day selling to junkies 10 times a day. Also, the perks of anything you want new. TV'S, VCR's, New shoes, Im wearing them, all from the junkies who steal them, no dout, to get crack. Not to mention Blow Jobs and other sexual pleasures.
I couldn't do it for more then 2 days. I told him I would rather be back in the cold and find another way. I don't think the risk involved is worth the perks. That's me. I have grown and though i do not judge anyones life try to make decisions that are not from desperation. When I do, I pray that I have the wisdom to see where I am
and the strength to leave. Years in space will teach some things. I think it was in HEAT, the movie, where Robert Di'niro said something about never be in any situation where you cannot leave at a moments notice. I am able to do that. I did and here i am. Thank god cuz they probably dont have the net in Jail ? maybe ?

Well hello out their. Went to Furr's cafeteria and ate all you can eat for 1/2 a sawbuck. Not to bad. I am tired as I hardly got any sleep last night. Feeling good though. Will try to work tomm and go to the Taxi orientation Wed. Just trying to go to the Florida Keyes where its warm. Sure nice to be back on earth for awhile.

My compa and I are still currently trying to get to Key West , Florida. Or Florida in general. We are in Tucson, Az and it's COLD. Florida is nice and warm and we have lived their on several different occasions. We were both working for a Italian deli here that is kinda family owned, if you know what I mean, and it was cool because we have been with this family for awhile now. But, as things would have it it got a little krazy and we decided to leave. I went to truck driving, I got my CDL, and my compa went to LA to work. I gave up our apartment because I was going to drive and my compa had it set up, supposedly, out in LA. Well didn't happen. He ended up with nothing out their and I sent him $$ to Tucson and met him their. So now we are currentl nomadic, once again, and headed for warmth where we will work, we are definatly not lazy, and set things up. He is sleeping now and I am on computer. We are at the University of Arizona. We stayed up last night,due to cold, in the local laundramat and now sleep during warmer periods. I came here to check the Sunday paper in order to look for work Tomm. I might drive a cab. AnywayZ thats an update on me and God Bless
