Hello !
I'm Mr_Cheesy, I'm a 30something H2G2 fan, originally watched the TV series with my Dad when I was a nipper, then read the books in my early teens, and followed that with the radio scripts while I was supposed to be revising for my 'O'-levels. I have read some of Mr Adams' other works but never liked them as much as the H2G2 books. I haven't currently read 'Salmon Of Doubt', but it's on my holiday reading list for this year.
I work in (boo, hiss) financial services, in an advisory role, but I have the distinct pleasure of for working for an ethically minded company, which helps to dispell any qualms about having sold my soul to the corporate machine. I have still been accused of being both a 'corporate whipping-boy' and a 'imperialist running dog' by some of my more 'marginal' friends, but I don't do anything which I know will hurt anyone else intentionally, so I figure I'm doing OK. I am a confirmed omnivore however and will eat anything furry, scaly, feathered or otherwise. Wow, I'm really waffling on here...
I love music of many many flavours, films (preferably funny, although today I'd say my favourite film is probably 'Almost Famous', it will be something else tomorrow), books (obviously, with a slant towards fantasy), comedy (Python, Connolly, Jupitus, Hicks etc), and I'm generally open to new experiences...
