carrying on. It would be fun, but all the conversations have gone.
I wonder if the Carry On page (was there one?) still exists, or whether there are any threads still going. Perhaps if I write this here, something who knows something will read it and satisfy my curiosity.

What's cooking?

I've been given the very prestigious job of catering for a friend's wedding. I've tried to talk him out of it, but he's as stubborn as a 
(no 'bull' smiley available yet sadly).
Perhaps I should agree, so long as he promises to let me cater for the divorce too?

Bridge Over Troubled Water

Looks like the floods are still set to get worse, though the weather is pretty bright and sunny. Luckily I'm not afflicted but some friends are.
So to anyone suffering from British weather syndrome, my heartfelt pity.
Of course, being stranded on an 'island' could be quite pleasant in the right circumstances and company.
