Pet peeves and favorite things? All in one?

I have a strong dislike, and I'm rappidly moving up to hatred against people hwo think they are better than other people. Now, I know everyone, including myself always act like this a little, but some people I tell ya, jeesh. You could have a PhD in Quantum Mechanics, and they could have a PoS in... hmm, Physical Education, and they'd still think they know more than you. Which brings me to my thesis (it turns out that it isn't really a thesis, it's just something I though might be interesting to hear from other people than just myself.), can your pet peeve (where-ever did that phrase derive from?), also be your favorite thing, or your best friend?

Now, I ask this, with addition from my nice little paragraph above. My best friend is exactly like this (did that sentence make sence?). You see (don't worry. I'm not some old lady with a tale on an airplane when she's got you cornered and you want to hang yourself, or light your hair on fire), my friend Matt totally thinks that he is better than everyone, or at least treats them that way. (May sure is a beautiful month, no? Anyways, what was I saying? Oh yes.) Now, I used to just hold in my anger about it, but it finally come out in a burst of indiscreetly rouge coloured bad and cruel behaiviour. (I use cruel because mean just doesn't quite fit it) So what I did was talked to him about it... after I blew with my multi spectrum emotion. I told him that if he doesn't stop (which he now almost has), at least to me, the he's going to have a shitfest of a life. Of course I didn't use those exact words, but I'm sure he got the jist of it.

The aftermath did help anyone else much, but at least he respects me, and his closer friends. But, non-coincidentally, he still does it to most other people.

OK. Par accident, j'efface mon premeire entrie du journal car je ne savais pas comment de changer, donc j'ai devrais retaper un deuxieme fois. Yes, OK. My french isn't that good, and for those of who who don't speak french, I just said crap darnit all, you idiot. Know you've got to redo it. Though french doesn't add to the point I'm hopelessly trying to make. What I mean is that this enrty was written back in october 28, 2004, and know i've re-done it on April 21, 2005. (Me and my dates, I know...) Hence the following paragraph.

The date is April 25th, 2005. I gave my friend a hard-copy of this entry. He read it, and say's he's changed (he also said to fix my damn spelling errors.). Now I mostly agree with his assesment for the situation has improved, (now I'm guessing here) but if it's an attribute or trait, to be more exact, you get from a parent, then it never really diminishes does it? Your thoughts?smiley - bubbly

Pet peeves and favorite things? All in one?

I have a strong dislike about people who think there better than other people. Know, I know everyone including myself always do this a little, but some people I tell ya, jeesh, you could have a PhD in Quantum Mechanics, and they could have a P.O.S. in... hmm, Physical Education, and they'd still think you know more than them. Which brings me to my thesis (which in fact isn't really a thesis, it's just something i thought might be interesting to hear from other people than just myself.), Can your pet peeve (where ever did that phrase derive from?), also be your favorite thing, or your best friend?

Know, I ask this, with addition from my nice little paraghrap above, because my best friend is exactly like this. You see (don't worry, I'm not some old lady with a tale on an airplane when she's cornered you in and you want to hang yourself), my friend (name not going to me mentioned because he might see this and I don't want to insult anyone) thinks totally that he is better than everyone. Now, I used to try to just hold in my anger about it, but it finally came out in a burst of very bad and mean behaiviour, so I talked to him about it. I told him that if he doesn't stop, at least to me, then he's going to have a shitfest of a life. It didn't help anyone else much, but at least he respects me, and another one of his closer friends. But he still does it to other peoples, and it really isn't very nice. Your thoughts?smiley - bubbly
