Snowball Fight Overhaul
Posted Feb 26, 2000
I decided that while I'm working on becoming a SubEd, I may as well edit my Entries as best as I can, because those poor guys have a LOT of work . However, I'm still not intimidated by the immense amount of work . Anyway, I decided to give the Snowball fights Entry at http://www.h2g2.com/A250543 an overhaul, so the poor SubEds don't have to. Check it out, please!

Subbed?
Posted Feb 23, 2000
So sue me. I applied to be a sub-editor. I looked at the e-mail, and decided on a few things:
1)The sub-editors get their name in that Editor slot of the approved entries they edit. That'll get me wonderful publicity! I mean, someone out there has to interested in looking at the people who edit entries!
2)Being an ACE isn't just greeting the new users. It's hunting out interesting articles and stuff, which I don't want to do. Yuck!
3)I'm pretty darned good in GuideML, and love to code my own page at http://come.to/raiblu , so I decided I'd want to code more.
4)Blue badges look so much cooler .
5)I've got PLENTY of free time to do that. And, it doesn't require having the user window up......good thing, it slows down my Internet a lot .
But, if I didn't do well on the exercises, I still get to be part of the h2g2 team: an ACE. Oh well, it's still better than being a Researcher.

ACEd (hopefully)!!

Today, in the ACE request forum, Peta told me I had been "helpful for ages" and to "watch my mailbox early next week." I think this may be good news!

I'm quite bored. I'm waiting...waiting to find an e-mail that says I've been appointed an ACE...but I feel it may never come (and there's the chance it may not)...I hope Bluebottle becomes an ACE, and me too. Till, then, this is Cheese.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
