The bit I forgot...

Addendum to the first journal entry.
I forgot to mention that I had put up an initial guide page about touring with Contiki. I think the forum that goes with this will contain some great anecdotes in due course.

My first journal entry

Well I think I should start a journal here so that people at least know how active I am in h2g2 or not. I discovered the guide yesterday while finding out about the Babel Fish translator, and decided to come aboard. I put up my home page and a page about my local town yesterday, and today I have tweeked them a bit and also had a wander around some of the other things that people have written about the Huddersfield area. I am already concerned for my phone bill having been in here about an hour and a half. I recently cut back my Usenet usage drastically to reduce my massive phone bill, and I am in danger of spending too much time here too. Today I had the disappointment of being told that I wasn't being called for an interview after last week being told by the agency that the client was keen to see me and was arranging an interview... Why can't agencies be straight? I am now talking to a different agency... It is 1:40am and I still haven't eaten my dinner - cheesy baked potatoes. I finished baking them an hour and a half ago but have been too engrossed in h2g2 to put the cheese on them, so I will now have to nuke them with evil microwaves. Here endeth my first journal entry.
