I'm doing better! I've been getting frustrated in dealing with the state disability people, but my health in general is improving. I'm actually hoping to return to work soon.(or at least job-hunting, since I was working temp when the excretory material hit the rotating device).

My largest problem these days is finding something to put on my feet! I bought a new pair of sandals 6-7 weeks ago, because they were adjustable (and expensive, even on sale!) and the darn straps are already splitting, from the pressure of the swelling! It's a brand of shoe I've bought frequently in the past, but poor quality now...

I'm determined that things *will* be looking up, if they know what's good for them!

I'm beginning to have to hit preview all the time now, since I've developed a slight written aphasia. At least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Do you have the Pay Less Shoe Store chain in California? They have their own brand of Crocs that are wonderfully comfortable and just cost $14.99. I was having such pain still with my foot, so I took a cousin's advise and bought myself a pair. They are the most comfortable shoes I think Ive ever worn.

I'm relieved that things are at least moving in the right direction for you - even if it is slowly.

Yes, we have Payless here -- one in the mall 4 blocks away, one half a mile from me.

What kind of shoes are Crocs? I'm currently having trouble wearing closed shoes, and I was hoping to find some Teva-style sandals (like the kind hikers wear) because they're so adjustable. I priced them at The Walking Store and they were over $100!
