On a TV sports programme I was watching yesterday the host, a man with lots of black hair, was sitting facing the camera with two totally bald men either side of him
The 3 of them were in their 40s.
The baldys were ex rugby union props - real big men with no necks

That's nice to know!
(Especially since in the erstwhile I'd "searched" it out and donated two of my submitted articles. )

Very nice
The most common swedish name for the @ sign is actually "snabel-a" (much the same as the norwegian name, means "a with a trunk"). It's also used in CAD software to distinguish relative coordinate measure from absolute.

Thanks freedom. I will update the yarn.
Do you mean the symbol @ is used in CAD software to distinquish relative coordinate measure from absolute?

The official Norwegian name for the @ sign is "krøllalfa".
Some people say "alfakrøll" and that's ok too. "Krøll" means curl, "alfa" is alpha.
Curlalpha.

distinguish...distinquish...
I'm not sure - guess I've come to the end of my english
In AutoCAD it works like this: If I'm standing on the point 50,50 and give the command @20,20, I will end up at coordinates 50+20,50+20 = 70,70. If I just put 20,20 without the @, then I'll end up on the point 20,20.
That's what I mean

Thanks B. I will update the page.
Freedom your command of English far outweighs my command of maths.

Freedom, if the yarn gets accepted I have left a note for the sub-editor asking for you to be credited for your CAD input.

Loony, you just made my day. I never thought my CAD knowledge would actually get me anywhere
Great article.

Hi Loony,
you could mention Freedom yourself by adding the GuideML tags
Freedom
at the bottom of the GuideML code between the tags and . With this, a link to Freedom is added to the right hand margin of your entry under "Referenced Researchers". Or just create a footnote by placing Thank you Freedom in the text. Hope this helps.

Thanks ScheEck Inc, I have added a note to the sub.
Also, the yarn has now been accepted and the "peer review" scout has passed on the credit information.

I think you've got yourself quite an article here, Loony... Have they added it to the guide yet?

G'day Nonnie, long time no speak. The yarn is in the pending tray. It will probably go on the front page in the next week or so.
