A short entry about an interesting building

I've been enjoying trying to get a good look at the building using Google Earth - you can see it and make out everything you've said, but just wish you could see it clearer!
It appears to be accessible from the Mill House B&B:

but sadly their website doesn't mention catering for non-guests, so I don't think you can just visit.

One thought - readers might wonder why it was felt necessary to defend the sleepy village of Beaulieu by building a pillbox.
You could perhaps mention that Beaulieu is in Hampshire, on the south coast of England and therefore close to enemy-occupied France. Furthermore it is only 14 miles from the important port of Southampton, under 20 miles as the crow flies from the Royal Navy's headquarters at Portsmouth, with both Portsmouth and Southampton key German targets and among the top 10 bombed parts of the UK during the war.

Only that I would welcome seeing this in Peer Review.
