I love this too! Thanks, it brought a smile to my face as I read it.
However, this is not so very far from the truth. I have just endured a heat wave here, and before reading your piece had been sincerely considering putting a fresh cotton sheet into my freezer for half an hour before going to bed. I'd read that this was one way to ward of heatstroke. If it doesn't cool down soon, I shall try it out.
Thanks again for another timely bit of advice!
