Person. As in first person to contribute to this discussion.
If you check the date of the parent article, it's 15 Mar 1999 - a month and a half before we launched the site.
We actually used the site internally here a TDV to discuss the way the UI was working, hence I was rather surprised that there were no other posts to this article.
In fact, all that had happened was that Jim had flushed the forum after we'd locked down the UI.
