Page turner
I wonder if someone 'yikesed' this? If so everytime there is an edit it will be re-referred I guess. It would have been far more sensible for the phantom yikeser (if this is what happened here) to have pointed out that a link to a commercial website might be infringing the BBC rules.
Now there is just the nuisance value of the Entry disappearing each time an edit is made.

I have the Eds to thank for the return of my article,
but I think I'll wait a few days then do all the tweaks in one goin case updating triggers the again as Lanzababy notes

Updatedand fingers crossed, it's still there
I am still looking for an alternative panoramic, non-3D view of the caves.

18 hours later and it's still there.
I'll try not to use the "A word" if any future comments. I do feel a bit responsible for the absurd hiding of your entry. Please accept my apologies, GB.

I'm sure it wasn't your fault, NBY. I had problems updating even before I submitted it to PR, I half-suspect it was the foreign characters or the Euro sign which must trigger something, but I don't know for sure.
Please do continue to review, I rely on the PR process to make my rough diamond into a polished gem, as we all do

Oho - Lovely
I really enjoy entries about places one has been and is keen to share with others
Here are some suggestions
>>Their formation began approximately five million years ago when the force of water eroded rock sufficiently to create an underground cavern with stalactites and stalagmites for decoration.<<
Without knowing exactly what they are, I'm pretty sure that the various processes include more than just erosion and I'd suspect that several different types of strata were involved. Here's (perhaps) an accurate non-technical alternative
->Their formation began approximately five million years ago with the action of flowing and circulating water and with the result that an underground cavern was created with stalactites and stalagmites for decoration.<-
I enjoyed your footnote about the snails
(but can you say that? )
>>and it is near-ideal acoustic.<<
Do you mean? ->and nearly ideal acoustics.<-
>>Columns of calcite form figures and one set looked uncannily like a Nativity scene.<<
suggest 'looks' instead of 'looked'
>>It's quite possible that these are the world's oldest musical instruments.<<
Good one - that is thought provoking
>>no provisions for wheelchair users and baby prams/buggies inside the caves<<
suggest 'or' instead of 'and'
>>To whet your appetite<<
I was expecting you to reveal that there is a restaurant in the caves - i'd suggest 'interest' instead of 'appetite'
I'd love to see the caves with my own eyes one day

Updatedthanks paily
I am not sure whether I can say that or not, it just occurred to me perhaps it was that what got me yikesed,
Oh well, if it's that bad it can go although I *would* like to keep it

It might be good to say that Nerja is in the province of Málaga.
I think this is the second entry about that province, Rich wrote this one A45687252 about Ronda.
Also, that Nerja is about 1 and 1/2 hour from Granada and the Alhambra, both places have their entries too, already linked in that entry of Ronda.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
