There's a lot of stuff named for him and I found myself wondering why...

But otherwise, this is a great little entry.

That is a fairly easy question to answer. When a city has a native son who becomes President of the United States it makes them proud and they express it by naming things after him.
I have added a paragraph to the intro including a youtube clip that gives a sense of how Gerald Ford expressed himself.
One issue it ignores is how after becoming President Ford turned his back on his native city and spent his final years calling Vail Colorado home.

I also switched football teams. Grand Rapids does not have any Team in the National Football League but do have this indoor league team.

There are few grammatical errors but I'm happy with the content.

It's the little things, like missing punctuation (especially around lists - decide if you are putting a full stop after each list item or not), and capitalisation (there's several instances where there's a capital letter in the middle of a sentence - it may be where you ran two sentences together during editing). There's just one instance of a footnote playing up - check your spacing around number 3.

If you would prefer a list of things to amend I'll do that for you - just shout.

Why is Amway important-
That is kind of like asking why is Google important to Menlo Park California. or why is Dow important to Midland Michigan.
Grand Rapids ( or its suburb Ada) housed the manufacturing home for a Billion Dollar Industry and the founders contributed large sums to their home area.

That's great - and that footnote about Amway really helps.
