My first attempt at a sonnet, all Dmitri's fault

Ooook - re-reading this version today, I realised it had only 13 lines and the 14th didn't copy over. Why did nobody tell me? (It's in now.)

Thanks, MVP. I'm not sure what kind of aliens they are, because I never met them myself.
But I'm wondering whether the fact that it's silly means I don't have to work on it anymore. For example, I've noticed that I use a lot of terminology irrelevant in space - up, down, dropping things... Think I can get away with it?
