A most novel idea and one which has so many aplications as well. An abundance of local stone with with to work, one could build his or her dwelling with the very rock quarried from the digging of ones own basement. Waste not want not.
Not to mention the potential profits from exporting the surplus back to earth. Every space cadet in the entertaiment industry will be clamoring for the stuff, they adore fads. And megalomaniacs would not be left out either, Trump might even build a casino with it, 'The Luna' or some such. I can smell a fortune already.
