There's an idea and a point there, which is always nice to see, but I think it needs developing. Give examples, use images and comparisons to draw it out. Sell the point, comvince me, get angry or get funny. There are lots of directions you could take it.
As it stands it reads like a journal entry or a converstaion starter rather than a stand alone piece of creative writing.
Have fun with it, though. Writing should always be fun.
