Just the beginnings of a short story that i thought I'd throw in to gauge reaction.

Hey there.

Only two things immediately occur:
Your second paragraph uses the word 'regime', and I believe you may have meant 'regimen' which would indicate routine or scheduled.

Also - though you don't describe size of the 'letter' - I wonder if you have in mind some kind of super-explosive, that could be contained inside a standard envelope; or, if the explosion did not come from the posted letter at all.

Even an envelope that could fit an unfolded dozen sheets of standard writing paper would not carry enough of any known explosives to destroy a building so completely, and this character's type would probably be less inclined to accept responsibility for someone's sizable package.

Just an opnion. Have fun!smiley - ok

Certainly a good enough start that I'll be back when you work on this a bit more.

Just goes to show that you can't trust anyone anymore. I like it well enough, though I agree with Ford's Towel about the regimen bit.

I've had a think about the whole regime/regimen thing, went back to my hand-written draft, and realised that I'd actually written "routine" in that, so I've gone for that.

I'll probably type up some more of this sometime this week.
