"Verse and Prose" came as inspiration from " Hansel and Gretel" story. Based on a Fairy Tale from the collection of Grimm Brothers published in the early XIXth Century.
The "Verse" is followed by "Prose" as Gecko realization of events on her own way.

Hey gecko, I had a weird experience reading this piece. When you posted it first there was only the verse and it said the prose would follow. So I tried again later and there was the prose but the verse had gone.
I thought you were doing a now you see it/now you don't, now it's verse/now it's prose entry. Which would be a new way to write on the internet.
Anyway, glad they're both together now. I liked the gecko warming in the sun, changing colours. I could live like that .
