No, fraid not. I just remember reading about it about 15 years ago. I just remember it had a penguin in it called Mupfel.

smiley - eureka now I know. It's called Urmel aus dem Eis,by Max Kruse and belongs to the books I already read as a child smiley - biggrinThere are several books about the Urmel, the penguin, the sea-lion, professor Habakuk Tibatong and a few others. I loved them too smiley - smiley.All the animals had some difficulties with pronunciation, that's why one of them said Mupfel instead of Muschel smiley - erm.If I recall it correctly, the Muschel was the home of Urmel, but it's really a very long time ago that I read it ( now I'm showing my agesmiley - winkeye)
