Is this enough to start with?

Can I get back to you on that?
(Sorry, that was a cheap joke).
Re: Menial Tasks: I found that I used to get more housework and ironing done at Uni when I had an essay I wasn't doing, than at any other time. Displacement activities.
This is an interesting list, and might make it as an EG entry. I am so out of touch with Peer Review these days, that I have no idea what they would make of it.
Thank you for posting it here.

Enjoyable, and very truthful. I want to bump this up so others can read it, and recognise themselves, as I do. If you don't face your faults, you can't fix them.
Thanks for a slightly shaming read!

Thank you.
No shaming neccessary, please!
It is human to have faults.
OK to give yourself a kick every now and then.
I think of it as a natural pruning, allowing for new growth

Not much of a procrastinator myself, but I can see why Lizardy sees herself there!
It's an interesting set of ideas. I'd like to see elaboration on each one, a bit of commentary, maybe some examples. Not because any of the points were unclear, but the ideas are rather deep and full of potential for further writing. I'd love it if you unpicked some of that and put it in.
Thank you for putting it here for us to find.

Hi abbi
The lizard and I are going through the AWW, serveying and pruning and I came across this again. A pleasure to re-read and interesting as ever.
Not sure that this is the best forum for it though. It seems to be heading more toward the edited guide than any of the AWW outlets. Would it do better in the Writing Wrokshop, since that is more geared toward getting entries ready for Peer Review. Or Peer Review itself if you feel that it's time to make the leap.

Ok
I am at a loss for knowing what goes where.
I will take one or more of those options.
Thanks for your time and suggestions,
it's appreciated.

It's always a pleasure. Plus I really think this is a good and worthy piece of writing that deserves a wider audience than it will get languishing in here!

Hi Abbi, I'm echoing nadia - this does deserve a wider audience. There's a lot of sound advice there. I honestly don't know how it would go in Peer Review for the EG. The only way to find out would be to try it. There's nothing to lose by doing so - if it was thought not to be EG material, or if you felt the amount of work they asked to be done on it was more than you were interested in doing you could bring it straight back here. You know it has a place here.
In terms of the UnderGuide I think it needs more of an introduction and some work in presentation - GuideMLing it so that points can be inset etc to make it easy to follow. Oh, and a title.
Alternatively, for a CAC-Continuum piece it could be used straight away as it is or the CAC-C Editor-of-the-day could GuideML it.

Hi
Thanks very much for the vote of confidence.
I have had a series of infuriating computer problems.
It may have to wait for a new computer
I will not give up on it
