Yep.
Interesting punctuation technique, commas instead of apostrophes.
The spoken quotations should be indented separately and given their own line, instead of incorporated into a paragraph.
It makes conversations scan more easily and the page look more formatted.
Good effort!

Your keyboard is missing something?
I am a bit of a techno-lump myself.
I barely understand the parts of the computer that resemble a typewriter.
Oops, I forgot. It is difficult to indent on this site.
Ahh, forget that part.
Just use the "enter" button to separate the quotes from the others.
The apostrophe button should be right next to the "enter" button, under the " sign.

Enjoy yourself.
I've cut back quite a bit on the because I'm trying to quit smoking and the two seem to go hand in hand with me.

Hmm. I'd advise against 'correcting' the format. I had no problem with understanding. If there were long sections of dialogue I would agree but as it is there's just the odd line of speech and I like that they are naturalised into the text.
I don't like the last paragraph. Sorry.
Up to there I think it flows well and has a nice chatty style. But the last paragraph is distinctly moralising and in an entirely different register. I think the bulk of the piece makes the point and the last paragraph is overspelling it.
That's just my and I did enjoy reading it and I agree with the points made.
So thanks
