I like this, it is an accurate and well-balanced approach to the subject.
Well, it is from where I'm sitting!

I think this is what the UG is about. Irreverent and factual (those little blighters can rappel faster than the SAS)
Bumping this to get to a wider audience (even thought Solitaire has Elvised)

Haven't read this in a while
Actually, there are a lot of them where I live... they always look like they're up to something, honestly.

I liked this too, but didn't bump it because Solitaire had elvised. I personally would like the UG to shine brightly, and I think we are going to need Researcher/Author help to do this.
I know some stories of amazing assaults on bird feeders from my cousing who moved back to Vermont from California (proof that insanity is in my family) and my lunch was in real-life nearly hijacked by a squadron of them once, so I know that the article could be even better than it is and so I consider it B+ material.
Congratulations
UnderGuide Editors Posted Nov 6, 2003
Congratulations! Your Guide Entry has been picked from the Alternative Writing Workshop (AWW) by our miners and has been accepted by the editors for inclusion in the H2G2 UnderGuide! It will be featured on H2G2's front page in due course and then be displayed on the shelves of the UnderGuide.
More information on the UnderGuide can be found at A1103329. And to check what happens next go to 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at A1096544. A helpful friendly Gem Polisher will be dropping by your personal space soon to talk to you about the next stage of the process.
As the entry will be archived in the UnderGuide, it would help the miners in their search for new UnderGuide entries in the AWW if you would consider taking this version of your entry out of the AWW. This can be done by clicking on the 'X' or 'Remove' on the AWW page at <./>RF5</.> Feel no obligation to, however.
Thank you for contributing to the UnderGuide!

Yep, this is my cost of being lazy and choosing not to be a volunteer.
Ultimately the UG will be what they make of it, and this will be an interesting precedent.
Key: Complain about this post
