Well, I can't see the entry and talk about the contents, but as long as it is on topic - wouldn't it be a nice addition to the h2g2 University Project about programming?! http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A537635
As I see it, the space for BASIC is still open!

I think the original author may be dormant...the article has been hidden for a while.
If he doesn't reappear I will try and knock together a VB article for you - after all, it is 10 years old this month.
Also - can a university project use already published articles? If so I commend "The seven secrets of successful programmers" to you

DoctorMO is alive (he's working as an artist for the Post) - maybe just retired from working at this piece. I could understand it as there were some comments early in the thread which don't do justice to someone who's doing their first steps on Peer Review.

Oh, I forgot...
Inserting Edited entries into ongoing projects: Mark seems to hate it because of some excessive shoveling in and out of entries and conversation threads between index pages resp. entries. There was long debate in one of the threads about Jets&Rockets.
Moving threads seems to require hammer and chisel, rather than a computer script (see: programming!)

Thanks, your right about the graphics, although I could still find time to do an artical, but one of the things that was going though the conversation was the posabillty of doing the VB or proggraming as a team or maby a duo, so if you are going to LET, I'll need some people to help, OK.
p.S. I hope you like the campfire pic.

There are several people involved in the Programming Project and I'm sure there's help for you available
But I'd still like to *see* the entry!

PS: where can I find the campfire graphic please?

Dr, is this entry going to be revived some day? Otherwise this thread will have to be sent over to the Sin Bin, lacking something to review...

hmm... there's still nothing to review (or to join to the project). Under these circumstances it's bound for the Sinbin.
