I had my ears pierced when I was ten for the same reason you mentioned I now have 10 earrings altogether.
At the age of 16 I had my belly button pierced because it was starting to become more fashionable with the older kids and I thought it looked quite pretty, unfortunatly not knowing about piercings and piercers I went to a place called Tattoo World and he didnt do a very good job of it, Im waiting for it to heal up properly and I will get it done again along with the bottom being pierced too.
In June last year me and a friend both booked ourselfs in for tattoos, I had a dolphin on my shoulder and she had a unicorn, I didnt find it painful at all and am also planning on two more at the moment.
And finally in August I had my tounge pierced, it didnt hurt a bit but the swelling was a pain and eating was difficult but now its fine
Next on my agenda are my two tattoo which I will be doing sometime this year and I also am going for a nipple piercing but I heard it kills so that one Im not in a rush for.

I read somewhere that you should never go to a tattoo parlour for a piercing, even if they have a specialist piercer, but I can't remember why now.
Shame about your navel, but when it's redone it'll look great. Mine still gives me problems every now and then, even 10 months later. Normally when I have eaten too much though, and my jeans are too tight.
I'm too nervous still to get my tongue done, I might give up the idea, but tattoos, I can't get enough of those. I had one done on my shoulder in November, and it still surprises me when I see it in a mirror!

I know what you mean, whenever I see mine I think oh my god I cant believe I did it
You might have read that in my guide entry on body piercing, I said to go to a professional body piercer as they perfect on one skill.
As for the tounge piercing, dont believe everything you hear about them they dont hurt a bit, I didnt even feel the needle go through it was over and done with in a matter of seconds. My friend has got her tounge and nipple pierced and she said the nipple was the most painful then the tounge.

Funnily enough, although it hurt more to have my nipple done than my navel, my navel hurt more after the anesthetic wore off, and still hurts more when it's pulled than anything. Mind you, it's the greatest pleasuse zone of them all.

I always catch my navel in my trousers, I wear a bar as the hoops always get caught especially when you wear jeans
About the greatest pleasure zone I find the tounge because its a werid feeling kissing with it, that and a few other things

I have always had a bar, rings are too hard to heal. Which is why I still get bleeding from my nipple ring 2 months later. I know it's been pierced twice, but surely it should be better by now.
My mate has her tongue pierced, and yes, I think that is definitely a nice piercing. Especially where she was putting it.

When it had a bar in it, it was fine, and I get no trouble from the other one that still has a bar in.

I was looking at some web pages on piercings at the weekend to see if anything inspired me unfortunatly nothing did and there are a few really scary piercings going on out there for example, anus piercings and some woman actually had a massive padlock hanging from her clitoris talk about making your eyes water!!
If you get 5 minutes and feeling brave you gotta check out some of these piercings [URL removed by moderator]

Oh yes, I have that site bookmarked, it's great. It's where I got the idea for one of my tattoos from.
I looked round it a while ago, but I didn't see one with padlock. Urgh, wonder if it rusts.

Im not gonna find that out I feel sick thinking about it!
I wouldnt mind getting my cl*t done but only with a small hoop not a massive bar or something ouch!

I quite fancy getting the hood done, with a ring, like you, but I have to wait until at least April before I get anything else done. I've been advised to only have 3 healing at once, and to give them all a year to heal. Seems a long time, but they are the experts.

I want more but its getting the guts to do it sounds funny coming from someone who has two piercings already and a tattoo.

Don't worry, I am the same. I want more tattoos more than I want more piercings though. They take more thinking about I think.

Tattoos are forever I was going to have a black dragon (smallish) crawling down my back at first and I booked up the appointment and everything and when I got there I ended up having a cute little dolphin on my shoulder, I dont regret that but I know I would have regretted the dragon.
Im after a Tigger tattoo now to either go on my hip or my backside, Im going to design it myself as all the ones Ive seen are really tacky.
But after that Im going to stop or Ill get too addictive to them

Tigger is nice, but a bit cute for me. I only like black designs that have meaning for me, I try to avoid anything fashionable, because when the fashions change, I'd be stuck with it.
I am supposed to be having a sort of line drawing of a wizard, but my mate said it looked c**p, so took it away to do it better. He's had it nearly a year. I want that on my stomach, so I guess I'll have to nag him to finish it so I can get it done before the summer.
Having one you designed yourself, or specially for you is much nicer I think. Both of mine I took the designs in.

Ive been a massive Tigger fan all my life, I thought Id grow out of it but not showing any signs of it yet
Id probably regret it if I had it done using thier designs but using your own design is different, lol just imagine going for a job interview and telling them you good at art and they asked to see some of your work youll be guarented that job

Would be good, I have to rely on other people though, as I am not terribly good at art. Which is why my wizard was removed for "improving". Apparently it didn't look anything like a wizard. Although I thought it did.
