A quick research indicate only that as a result...

Strangely, if I search under the category of Science Fiction & Fantasy, the fifth result appear to be The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
See by yourself:

I think we can accept his book if it shows up that there's a link with H2G2...

1. I think we're getting confused. You don't have to start with the last letter of the previous book, just have a similar or tangential subject. Made that mistake myself on the previous page.
2. I hate Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, both ripe to be sent up h2g2 style. Unless you're about 12.
3. The Bloody Chamber

But if you go back to the first postings, they started with the last letter of the book title being the first one of the next book title. I'm confused!

You're right, Daff. I withdraw that objection forthwith. I was reflecting current practice, mistakenly.

Ruth a Portrait.
Patricia Cornwell.
!!!Boy did things get really out of hand in my absence. I was so excited to see 24 posts on my return, and then disappointed when it seemed everybody was lost.!!!
FYI, I put the L-Squared title in all three of the related games... Geographical Locations, Movies and Books... L-Squared stands for Last Letter
Oh and we voted on the conv that we will only use last letter of the book and not the author, but the author must be specified.
Cheers!
