*A small cozy wooden structure with large windows that watch over the garden and the hills further on, all the way to the desert (the shades are usually pulled open during the day to let the sunlight in).
An old sofa, a soft rug and a couple of mismatching chairs.
In one corner, a strange eclectic collection of books and CDs is stacked in, on and all around a small cubby that was probably once some other colour than it is now; on the wall over the sofa is a carefully aranged collection of various postcards.
There is always a kettle on the stove, except for the times it is replaced by a macchinetta.
Whenever I happen to be around, any guests are most welcome here.

Oh, sure!
Now I did have some mugs around here... *rifles around the cubby until she finds two mugs (one '#1 Grandpa' mug and another one in a wonderfully hideous orange-and-brown 70s pattern) and gives them a quick rinse*
