Looks like I'll have to change the link which used to lead to the forum to the article. Isn't it strange though how we've both had to end up writing articles to keep a track of forums on H2G2. Keep up the good work ffm.

Well, with a quarter million pages the weaknesses of the original software design are becoming evident. I'd be surprised if it were otherwise, actually. It's very difficult to create a scaleable system without actually banging on it.
