I dunno, I got mine a couple of weeks a go, and I think it's a top phone
Although, saying that, I will agree that the WAP side of it is PANTS
Are there any WAP sites actually available?
And who really wants to browse the net on their mobile, when you can use a COMPUTER people?

I agree. I gave up trying to get a 7110 and got a Siemens S25. I know it doesn't /actually/ do WAP but I am currently using it to connect to the net using my Laptop. It is also a cool phone and at £4.99 with discounts, its a lot cheaper.

well there are two main things about WAP that in theory pretty much guarantee its sucess; your phone network has the capability to know where you are (through GPS, or just through triangulation based on the mobile base stations), and billing is/can be managed through the network provider.
So, any function which is locationally dependent (where is the nearest cinema showing XXX?) or involves small charges (book the ticket and just have it added to your phone bill, instead of messing around with registration and credit cards) is a natural.
Unfortunately both of these involve the network providers showing a degree of speed and responsiveness which they have shown no sign of so far...
