Please consider the following first:
Intro 2nd para 2nd line: [don't have roots]
Intro 2nd para 6th line: ['free-floating', using]
Intro 3rd para 3rd line: [more about them.]
Intro 3rd para 4th line: [seaside]
Eating It 2nd line: [flavour - a bit like]
Eating It 4th line: [nori, a protein-rich alga]
Eating It 2nd para 3rd line: [upwards]
Eating It 2nd para last sentence:

Eating It 3rd para: I think the paragraph might read better if you made <(named after the abundant supply of red seaweed, or 'Irish Moss', that can be found along the Irish coast near the town of Carragheen)> part of footnote 5, and then rephrased the rest... (but, then again, perhaps I've been on too long 
)

Looks good! My dog likes to have a little chomp on seaweed, but after seeing it piled up on the beach at Broadstairs covered in flies last weekend I think I'll pass.
