Hi, h2g2.
It is very nice to be here.
I have been away.

But now I am back.
I thought, what could be more fun
Than a haiku post?

So talk to me now.
Oh great members of this site.
I can't wait to talk.

How to is easy.
Remember five, seven, five.
Then you have got it.

This game was quiet
At last your first answer came
Hardly worth the wait

There followed a pause
Imperceptible and yet
Still significant

Is anyone there?
Or is this "Message in a
Bottle" lost at sea?

Still the tumbleweed
Rolls across the screen, wind blows
At nobody there.

But scilence speaks more
once a wise person did say
Quiet back again

In that case why, if
I blank somebody does it
count as hostile move?

The alternative
of conversation could be
worse done in anger.

Loss of face, or a
Slap in the face, which one would
You prefer to have?

Such foolish ramblings
Provide no enlightenment -
Persevere or wait?

Love only will last
the eternal emotion
two people as one.

If there were an ape
of titian hue in the room
I'd now be sorry

Too cryptic for some
yet patronising when light
is thrown on the theme.

Does anybody
win when the stakes are too high?
Is victory loss?

Too deep for late hours.
Sleep on it, fail less when tea
steams away fogged thoughts.

Two minds as one is
feared, when hearts must stay apart.
Can that ever work?

The hardest word is
a powerful one to clear air
storm-washed beginning

Snotulant day filled
Drowsing and avoiding cough
Noseless day wasted

Fabric, needle, thread,
Drape and cut without bias
Lest seams distort

Inner sketch follows
A line floating over curves
Inspiration burns

No lunar eclipse
ceases to be if unseen
so recast full moon

Only a haiku
another banale haiku
yet my own attempt

Already soaked through
Don't offer gallant shelter -
I'm not that easy.

Ceridwen's own night
Green candled wish burns to take
Water's shortest path

Ask what, Patroness?
So much wanted or needed,
Grant as you see fit.

Gold poured down the mound
Unseen parakeets call out
This morning is mine

Stream of pain through me
Filling with endorphin's haze
Break into gnosis
