h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've just been searching h2g2 and can't find a review page for games so am considering setting one up (I'm primarily thinking comptuer games, so PC, PS2, Xbox etc but I'm open to any type of game review really!). Is there anyone else who'd be interested in contributing to it? I'm thinking of having one page as the main hub, linking to entries that are reviews of different games. Any ideas of other things to include are much appreciated.

P.S. I have a PS2 and a very dusty N64 so I can provide reviews for many PS2 games and some (about 8!) N64 games... though N64 is out of date now!

Im a bit of a Ninty fan.

as in i have a SNES a N64 a Gamecube (my NES broke) home consoles.

and 2 original gameboys a GBA and a DS.

I also have a linux machine so no games there then.

I'll set up a main page in the next couple of days. What sort of things should we rate the game on? The usual "Graphics, Sound, Gameplay, Lifespan, Overall". Anything else I've missed?

As a Ninty fan You I would say you should add quirkiness as there have been many games wich have failed in all but gamplayand have been fun due to this or maybe a wider thing of innovation.

That would be better. If someone worked out a new way of using the rumble feture or if its a completely new idea it would score high. but the latest footy sim would score low because its basicly identicle to the 6 month old one.

what will we be ratin gout of 1, 5, 10, 12 or 100

Can we do more than just reveiws

e.g. preveiws, Hints/tips/cheats. News(new console details for example)

if the answears yes my guide entry on new consoles A4768013 could be connected (its not complete as in it needs pictures and Ninty are usally thin on Info but Ive done the best i can

Mainly play PC strategy games

I like those ideas - innovaton is a great idea not only does it cover the idea of new ways of using the technology but it also covers games that are good, but are just clones of other games! I like the previews, hints tips etc ideas as well!

are you going to link to Edited Guide Reviews of games?
I know theres a few (Age of Empires, Civilisation, that stealing cars and committing crimes series) so probably best not to repeat work already done right

Yea i was going to say rate games on originality or just plain creativity but thats about the same as innovativeness. Im really a very lazy procrastinator though... But Im in.

great to have another person on board. If you know anyone else on h2g2 who plays comptuer games and might be interested in contributing then point them this way!
I'll link to any comptuer game articles I can find! So if there are already reviews up I'll link to them! I've already started looking for articles, but if you know of any/spot any just post the link either here or on the page and I'll put them up
