Sorry folks - I'm going to have to drop out - got a few personal problems at the moment that make it impossible to get away at weekends.

I am very sorry to hear this. Partly because the group will now be smaller, but also because I hadn't met you yet, and was particularly looking forward to seeing you, and also the thought that life is difficult for you. Is there really no way?

Not at the moment - gone from having my son with me during the week and with his mum at weekends to having him with me full time... And he's got exams in a fortnight - so I can't even justify bringing him with me.

Hopefully there'll be another opportunity - haven't been to a meet in years and was looking forward to this one!

Hmm - I was going to suggest bringing him along. Surely it's eddifying - hearing lots of people speaking English and seeing historical Reims.

... depending on the exam, you might be able to justify the trip with a visit to the Surrender Museum, maybe ?
