strange, had a final quick look for my Dalai Lama quote, a new one just appeared at the top of the list ....
'Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.' Dalai Lama
Oh yesssy yes! That's what I meant, sort of, by the energy shining through words.
And towel day.
What about it?
Dunno, just said it. .

If I was someone else entirely, I'd write an illuminated essay about the interface between Science Fiction and a Zen Buddhism type awakened compassionate love vibe, , but I guess all good science fiction writers have already dealt with that interface in their stories.
.
And I'm sure the Buddha would love Towel Day
If I was a scifi writer, damn I wish I was, ah well next life, do I believe in in reincarnation?, no idea......
...I couldn't just write a story about how a civilisation who live in the space behind my left eye really hate a civilisation who live in the space behind my right eye, so splat! zow! pow! (and neon laser synth effects), there's a spacewar, and everybody dies.
And in the place where everybody dies, a toxic energy is released and travellers who comes into contact with it get very unhappy. (or else have dandelion hallucinations) (although that seems a bit irrelevant) ...
Now .... what would be the point of that?
I'd have to create a hero, a noble representative from a civilisation who live in the space behind the Third Eye, who somehow unites the warring factions, (even though they're all dead), turns the toxic energy into inspiration, and risks obscure dandelion hallucinations which don't turn out to be that bad, and anyway they don't last long.
Hmm, I just remembered, I already have a beautiful essay that deals with the interface.
It's in my Inner Paths to Outer Space book, (rootles in bookshelf), ah yes, The Sacred Voyage/Beyond Science Fiction? by Slawek Wojtowicz.
He ends by quoting from St Matthew's gospel, and bodhisattva texts, and says how scifi can be totally prophetic, and the sacred voyage will become all part of it. And I think a giant mantis was mentioned somewhere.
In fact, he said it waaaay better than that, , the essay is a bit clever for me, it hovers just out of reach of my intelligence, like a mandala spaceship, I must re read it though.

heheh yes please luv!
Nice, very relaxing. .
I'm slowing down in the next few weeks, lucky you guys, it will be quiet for you , although I shall tiptoe in sometimes, and share some and friedeggs s.
My energy levels are a bit out of balance, it seems, which won't help with dizzy panics, and I have to manage my funny turns in a responsible way. (sips peculiar tea ). I need to preserve energy so I can still wear purple stripes and drink peculiar dandelion tea when I'm 90.
I'm just going to pad around quietly, , and enjoy some input, think about things mystic and meditative. A time of assimilation of the years, of my pathways and dreamways.
I've taken to contemplating inspirational quotes by setting them to music on my synth, which is healing for me, but scares the spiders and craneflies in my room. haha. .
I've really figured Twitter . I have no intention of becoming a tweeter, but I love that faves/following list that visits me with its Zen inspirations, articles from all my fave music mags, plus photos from the Guide Eds of adorable little doggies wrapped in don't panic towels, and delicious vegetarian recipes which make my hungry at 4 am. and now I'm going to Mexico.
Goodbye then? No .... I'm going to Mexico via a Guide Entry.
Happy times. Take care luvs. See ya soon.

*thinks* those heat pads that worked so well for the iguana would have to scaled up*
not that anyone is in particular need of heat pads just at the mo

Hullo Sweetie (sips orange blossom tea mixed with dandelion, very pastoral ) (thinks about sleeping happy warm iguanas, and cheese sandwiches (hopefully without beetles in them ).
Of course you can leave little post it sparkle fragments about your cherryblossom and your wonderthoughts, you can write a novel here too if you like!! .
If you're going to leave post its, I'll check in of course, how can I resist? It'll be like my twitter temple, only better because its you.
And then I'll leave post it kisses, and some other things.
I just saw a mandala spaceship floating over my head, (in my mind's eye of course). I'm into the image of mandala spaceships right now. I think they inhabit the interface between science fiction and Jungian Zen related thought.
You started me off already. .
If you speak to Maria, could you tell her I had a Fibonacci coincidence the other day? I was checking those Fibonacci fractals she sent once, and thinking about the hootoo school of maths and how I forgot to do my homework for ages , then the same day I met up with a friend whom I hadn't seen for ages, and he was telling me how he is basing his wicker sculptures on Fibonacci fractals.
(shuffles off to place where ancient iguanas go)

can I ask questions of the twitter verse, I think should be able to
does a mushroom squeak if there is no-one there to hear it?

May there be dandelion tea in the garden,
while mushrooms murmur in the forests of the night,
ancient iguanas soak up wisdom on sunlit rocks,
and fractal spaceships carry towels on a search
for the answer to the ultimate question.

In steam room today, sweating out absurdity, anxiety and thinking about peculiar tea. .
Happy. I can journey through lifetimes in the steam room. .
First I decided to give up writing until my next life, to rest my soul, and I felt free and pure for thirty seconds.
Then all my words came back to visit me, bringing donuts , echoes, memories, indoor fireworks, crackers with bad jokes, , popcorn , precision, indecision, paranoia, euphoria and photos of their ancestors.
It was good to see them .
Then I decided to add a dotted line to my still swaying spider story ... ... which is kinda funny, and true to me. .It's a tribute to poets who are better than I, and the spirit of collaboration and new language.
I'll put it in the next post, then I'll lie down again.

I thought of your swaying spider today, somewhat randomly driving over the motorway bridge
I wondered why the spider swayed, for fun, relaxtion, is there such a thing as a perfect sway, is marking time , it went all a bit Dr Whoey after that, then a junction came up and and my thoughts were interupted...

.... yes... the story so far.
My Leaves And Spider Graphics Floating In An Orange Mist failed to impress the art show judges.
So I trudged out into the autumnal evening and binned my ambition, along with several chocolate wrappers and a map of the known universe.
I watched a flurry of leaves swirling around in the cool breeze, their final dance before falling to earth forever.
A tiny spider, suspended by a single thread, swayed precariously from the mirror of a parked car.
The setting sun suddenly flared orange through the mist, and the moment was ablaze with vast mystery...........................
My pace quickened. Eventually I arrived breathless at the garage shop, where I bought a pen and notebook (and a chocolate bar). I sat on a nearby bench and urgently scribbled a story entitled Leaves and Spiders (Floating In An Orange Mist).
I had no words to further describe how my sunset moment was suddenly ablaze with vast mystery,or how it inspired my consciousness. I had thrown away my map.
Not knowing what to do next, I drew a dotted line in the text, which remains there to this day.
One day I might ask some poet friends to redefine this dotted line with words of their own design. I could add leaves and spider graphics (floating in an orange mist).
Perhaps you will find us at the art show!
Goodnight.

heheh, it all went Dr Whoey?
I'm glad you concentrated on that junction. .
I saw a trailer for Dr Who the other day. I was really scared , just as scared as I used to be in the 60s, hiding behind the sofa from the daleks. .

I think your spider was kind of like a Robert the Bruce spider
I have decided convey messages, if you have the eye to see
You spider wasn't saying don't give up in the same way.
*goes into Mystic Meg mode*
It was reflective of how you feel about your words, you can't give them up, there is a need for some space from them because you are tired, but will hold on to them however precariously
I think I have drunk too much
Dr Who can still give you the serious spooks , and has that ability to enter your consciousness, it is fine story telling. When you can get a couple of grown up rationalists to just double check what the statues are up to behind you

Yes the sways in its attempts to build a web.
And in one of the stories about Robert the Bruce, he watched a spider trying to make its web. Time and again, the web broke, but the spider tried again, until in the end it succeeded...
So the is a symbol of keeping on trying.
