A poor 22 for me - I am a great fan of Sci-fi, but read little fantasy, and while I've read a fair through, I generally follow active series not so many of the "classic" finished ones

37 here--helped by taking a sci-fi class in highschool and a stint of reading the sci-fi classics. I don't think I've read anything published this century, unless someone's donated it to my local library (which does actually have at least one sci-fi/fantasy fan that donates--there's a fairly good selection for the size of the library, though quite often series are missing books in the middle. I hate when there's books 1, 2, 4... Even worse is when it's books 2, 3, 4, 5...)

I managed 30 although there are some that I remember the title, but not recall reading so there may have been more.

I've only read 11 of those (and that's counting 2 that I never finished because I thought they are bad) and I'm not surprised that my score is poor. I read hardly any sci-fi and am very picky about which fantasy novels I read. Basically I stick to a hand full of writers.

My mother was a charter subscriber to the SF book-of-the-month club, so I had loads of mid-20th-century classics in the house. She had a ticket to go to the moon! So I read all that Robert Heinlein, which I would not read today because it's very outdated. The Larry Niven/Jerry Pournelle books are good, too.
Most of what Neal Stephenson has written is in that pile, as well as Neil Gaiman.
I would have added "The Stars My Destination" by Alfred Bester, and Sam Delaney's "Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand" to that list.

53, I picked up more, but didn't like the sound of them from the jackets, so didn't bother with them.

Forgot to say, a project I've been doing in my spare moments (yes, I still manage to find some) has gone live:
http://www.nopandas.com
It's the website for the book I've been writing for the last *cough* years and have finally got around to finishing, there's even a couple of (very) short stories on the site. The wife's editing the book itself at the moment, and I'm laying it all out for print as well as working on the promotional stuff.
There's a huge amount of work that needs to be done once the writing has finished, before you have a book to publish that actually looks professional. And it's been a long time since I last professionally laid out book pages, or even did website design myself

31, I think - but what with my almost non-existant memory for names and having read several books translated into Swedish, it might be more. Useful page when looking for new reads though, at least in part.

I do miss some of Asimov's and Clarke's books/series though.
