h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'll do it....if someone could direct me towards the items needed in order to make such a game (software, whatever is needed). I've always wanted to make computer games, but can't afford tuition for college courses. That, and I doubt my game ideas would be welcome at Nintendo.
And if I get the oppurtunity to make such a game, there will be no more of the tedious "wait....wait....wait....wait....listen....smell" etc etc. That got pretty annoying!

Hey! I just tried to download that Inform software, but the page is gone. I'll try searching for it elsewhere, but if I can't find it, would anyone know where else to go?
