There's not a lot I can say that you won't be expecting. So take all the stuff you've been expecting me to say and say it yourself. It saves time and it's more personal.
If I wander off on my own, I will die. Not kidding. The first street I try to cross, I'm a goner. There's this moment of panic when we approach a street to cross when I look left, think that's the wrong way, look right, think THAT's the wrong way, look left again and (if Ant weren't here to pull me) turn around to look for something to do on that block instead.
The keyboards in the BBC studio things are also a problem. There are keys where other keys should be. Of all the things not to set a standard on, this is among the most stupid. Electricity remains at the top of the list, but it's barely holding on with all the new challenges of late.
Everything is in Spanish... but only here. It's odd to think that there's really no Spanish translation on any of the stuff here. Some stuff seems to be in French, but no Spanish. Strange, very strange.
I've been looking at this copy of Harper's Bazaar (got it for the plane and didn't look at it there) and you know something? Fashion, as a concept, is apalling.
London's pretty, though. It has ducks, and really old buildings. And everyone speaks with a funny lilty English accent—even the children! No, really. And the cold tap water is really cold, which is strange to me because at home the hot tap water is (eventually) hot, and the cold tap water is chillish almost lukewarm sort of room temperature water. Ant says it's because the wells are only protected from the sun by sand at home, and in London it stays colder because the dirt keeps the heat out. He made that up, but he may be right.
You know what? He's really great and I'm going to go watch him work now.

Wow.
You're SO there, with the lilting children and the water-chilling soil and the traffic that's just like another place I know and the Ant to watch.
Wow.
Now TRY to have a good time and don't come back with a accent unless you really must.
Pip pip, lovebubs

Awwwww...I'm jealous. And happy for you. HOoray!! and if you'll recall, I had a terrible time with the BBC keyboards when I was there, all drunk and stuff.
Hooray!!! I hope you have a wonderful time.
Miss you.
Krissy
