Do you know that today my friend showed me a news article that very clearly states that chicken soup is really good to have when you're sick? It appears they did a study on this. It appears that boiled chicken releases anti-cold chemicals, so you should have chicken soup with one whole boiling hen *and* extra wings and backs *and* at least one whole, erm, clump of garlic.

I'm certainly not going to but I found it interesting that people actually went to the trouble of spending their time conducting and funding such a study.

I feel it is in this way that science benefits mankind greatly. Don't you?

I think the scientists that discovered this were probably ill at home trying to think of things to do instead of the things they should have been doing

like finding a cure for cancer

or athlete's foot

I'm personally waiting for them to cure the most dreaded disease of all: Chee-tos™ fingers.

Hmmm, wonder why my keyboard is all orange....*walks off scratching head*

How about a pill for knee baldness? Or a pizza that doesn't burn the roof off your mouth? Or a Pop Tart that you can eat?

What about a pill that would make your nails longer or shorter as neccesary? I was going to suggest something with makeup but all I can think about is "Homer, I think you've got that thing set on whore."

How about something that would really and truly get rid of allergies? *sniffles* or make sure that you never had to go to the dentist again?

There is something that makes a dentist visit unnessarry...

We had a girl at work who pulled out two of her teeth by hand the other day. It was really gross.

That sort of thing really doesn't belong in the workplace. Especially not around children. It sets a bad example. There should be rules against that. Amanda, have them make a rule against that. Have them put it into the Employee's Handbook.

Did she do it for medical reasons, or for the pure, unadulterated entertainment value?

Perhaps she needed a couple of quarters to feed the meter.

Just another day on the job, as far as I can tell.
