h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Out of curiosity, I thought I'd try a new free file-sharing site. For my BMP to TABLE art DOS software, packed in a ZIP file because they don't like EXEs, it gave me this URL:

It uses upside-down BMPs to make the conversion trivial for any size of BMP. However, if you can't run DOS progs on your computer, you may be better off trying to refind the browser-based utility someone else wrote for just a 16x16 pixel size (where I think you colour in the pixels yourself first rather than starting from a file).

k ... I can run DOS proggies fine ^_^ i got both the windoze XP command prompt as well as the DosBox emulator

I was able to DL ur proggy. I'll post here when I've successfully gotten any actual art out of it ^_^

I'm glad you're having fun. Don't forget the output file size gets very large rather easily though. One of the first people to play with the prog said he nearly(?) crashed his computer by trying to view in his browser an HTML file he'd made from a full-screen BMP background!
