Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Started conversation May 12, 2014
well I'm meant to be revising for exams in less than a month
I say meant to be because we haven't actually finished learning everything on the curriculum yet...
Well for one subject anyway
physiology...
sociology on the other hand seems mostly wrapped up not quite totally finished but I'm pretty sure I could at least pass the exam...
our exams consist of short essay questions we must answer three questions from different topic areas in our subject
now this is easy enough for sociology we've looked at past papers which are all rather similar and we're pretty guaranteed what questions will come up and I feel i could confidently answer three and less confidently another three so I'm not really worried about the subject
I found I hate new right theory (if you dont know look it up)
and I occasionally fear my ideal society is some sort of marx socialism... although I am aware other theories and social idles are available... for now *evil laughter*
now physiology
the exam questions are on homoeostasis (negative feedback etc quite easy)
the kidney and the structure of a nephron(also quite easy but I need to brush up on what happens where)
and reproduction systems (probably female since it was male last year) including hormones and the endocrine system
now the subjects themselves don't worry me much (exept we've not finished reproduction yet)
but we've not actually written any sort of timed essay on them yet, I could probably get a pass but I would like to at least get a merit
but I dont actually need the marks for Uni... I've already accepted my place and I need to send my birth certificate and marriage certificate to about three different places at the same time (and I've lost them at the moment)
I looked at how much it was to order a copy on-line... Very... very is the answer...
now I think they are wherever i left them after Edinburgh (upstairs?)
so I really must go search and then send them to student finance and I need to take them to the DBS check on the 25th of June and NHS bursary service needs them too...
well one at a time eh

Thanks TC
I've come down with some sort of sinus head cold and its really effecting my ability to do things...
this morning i tried to put my trousers on backwards....
I have now taken some paracetamol and hopefully will be able to function in class... and give my cold to everyone
Also,
I got a distinction in that sociology project that I was worried about!
*happy dance*
