I rejoined the h2g2 ranks in early February, and promptly had an auto accident before I could summon the wit to acknowledge my new ACE (thank you very much!). I and my equally ailing computer system are recovering nicely, and I'm getting back to work on a number of Web projects, at least one of which I hope to share on h2g2. Just wanted to say thanks for being there.
I've admired the entire BBC Web complex, and used it for research, for several years. I was charmed and dazzled by h2g2 as soon as I saw it. It was everything Wikipedia should have been (and was not, at that time), and much more.
Doubtless I'll have my share of OHNOHELPME bits to post on the way to furbishing my space and getting together my first edited entry. Just wanted to say hi and with any luck at all I'm here to stay ... oh, and I share a personal nickname with a certain ACE's daughter (different spelling).
