It's been a long time, about ten months, since i last had net access at home, but here i am. It's been busy and 2004 looks like it's going to get busier, but more about that later...

and what a mad day that was. I personally think it was selfish & vindictive of aka and sat to instigate the closing of the digibox/h2g2 glitch. quite hypocritical really considering they both used it themselves and, from what i gather, told others how to do it for themselves. really, h2g2 is big enough to be able to avoid the worst elements of the digibox massive. i myself skip postings i can't read, dim ots.

Ah well, Kruger launch in Journeys tomorrow.smiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - ale

Well, I've dug myself into a hole here. I'm doing a sound system on march 5th, fine, no problems, but a friend phoned me to see if I could do a gig on the 4th. Problem is, is that the gig is a slot within my friend's sound system and, while I'd enjoy a good ol' sound system clash, reggae & hip hop versus psychadelic rock & funk would probably clear out the club. Either that or we'd both end up just playing dub!

So I thought this would be a good time to bring my Mycology project out of the studio and onto the stage. I consulted my dice* and decided to do it. Now I've got three weeks to figure out a set, rewrite and rearrange the material for live performance and, here's the killer, recruit some band members! smiley - headhurts

I'm alright though. My partner in crime, who co-wrote most of this material is up for it, as is the session trumpeter we use. I think we still need a fourth member, though, to share the workload and to be the frontman. Either that or some dancing midgets to take the focus away from how unrehearsed and how rough we're inevitably going to sound.

And, to complicate matters further, I'm going into hospital for a week this sunday, so we have even less time to prepare. I think I'm going to be the only patient on the ward tweaking a groovebox!smiley - geek (on headphones, of course)

Oh, and the bill for the night is a daunting one too. The promoters must have a lot of faith in ussmiley - erm
