'Haroouuf!" = A sort of yawn and greeting.
'Oooo!" = Pathetic attempt at howling with some encouragement.
'Snort.' = Not worked this one out yet.
Pathetic high pitched whine = Please let me out, I need to wee!
'Bark! Bark!' = 'There's someone at the front door! Er, or possibly next door.'
'Yelp!' = 'Derek has just trod on my tail.'
'Wimper' = Either 'Big dog! Must play with it!' or 'Big dog! Must hide behind Duncan!'
'Grrr... wup! Grrr... wup!' = Having a dream (the only time he actually growls.)
'Wup wup wup wup' = Barking in his dream.
'Yip! Yip! Yip!` = (He's only done this once so not entirely sure) 'Janine! Derek! Look... Duncan's home! Duncan's home!'

That's scary . Do we really need a machine to interpret your is saying? It's not hard! Now if there was one for cats, that would be an achievement.

Hehehe, thanks for sharing that with us. It's great how dogs (and cats, for that matter) can communicate with their owners, isn't it? I reckon they're probably a lot smarter than we take them for...

Hiya Lizzy! Now that I've moved house into a home with three cats, I'm discovering that Barney can make all kinds of other noises... usually whimpers and whines. He'll cower behind me when a cat is in the room, but then chase after it when it leaves!
